NetClock Installation ===================== To install NetClock, just create any directory and put the files contained in the .ZIP file into it. Then, create an icon on your desktop (or program group). 1. Click on the NetClock Icon. Netclock, by default, will come up minimized. 2. Initially, when you start NetClock, you will want to change the Free Hours, Price for each Hour (over free hours), and Billing Cycle Date. These boxes are at the bottom of the NetClock Window and labeled appropriately. 3. Connect to your server. 4. NetClock will start and stop automatically. NOTE: Previous versions of NetClock would start/stop as soon as the COM port was opened, this version uses WinSock and will start/stop as soon as WinSock allows a socket to be opened. This method makes the timer much more accurate and doesn't "calculate" time, eventhough you are only dialing to your server. 5. Your time information is saved if you do any of these three things: a) Click on the "Exit" menu. b) Click on the "X", close window icon (Win 95) c) After each time you are disconnected from the Server. Just in case you have a crash or something before you can exit. You will only lose what you had under CURRENT call. 6. To begin again, simply run (or click) NetClock.
